One of those improvements is the USB connection to the computer w/ the supplied software that allows you to monitor incidents and adjust several parameters (e.g. min/max voltage, current voltage, shutdown minutes). I do recommend they allow the customer to narrow the over/under voltage range and provides a few more LEDs to clearly identify abnormal status. Overall this is very good UPS and an excellent value. ...more
[2] Rating: 5 Date: 2010-03-07 Summary: Exceeded my expectations ... I installed one of these a few weeks ago after having a power outage where I thought I had lost a hard drive. I am running a Windows 7 desktop PC, router, cable modem, monitor and my telephone base unit on it. It came with a power management Windows application called PowerChute. I downloaded the software since it was newer than the version that came with the unit. It installed flawlessly. I let the battery charge up completely, then pulled the AC power cord with the computer running to make sure PowerChute did a shutdown. ...more

Barge board - A decorative board covering the projecting rafter (fly rafter) of the gable end. At the cornice, this member is a fascia board.

Ceramic tile - A man -made or machine -made clay tile used to finish a floor or wall. Generally used in bathtub and shower enclosures and on counter tops.

Construction drywall - A type of construction in which the interior wall finish is applied in a dry condition, generally in the form of sheet materials or wood paneling as contrasted to plaster.

Drywall (or Gypsum Wallboard (GWB), Sheet rock or Plasterboard) - Wall board or gypsum - A manufactured panel made out of gypsum plaster and encased in a thin cardboard. Usually 1/2" thick and 4' x 8' or 4' x 12' in size. The panels are nailed or screwed onto the framing and the joints are taped and covered with a 'joint compound'.
