I got this product because a friend of mine had picked one up to try it out and we both loved it. Basically, I do a lot of "outdoorsy" stuff and often end up beating up on things I own or it gets wet, or any number of things. With all of the things I'd do on the water, I wanted something I could put my Blackberry in so it would be protected from my normal abuse when I was out in the woods or on the water. [3] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-10-19 Summary: Great Case ... This works very well. Just took it on a trip to Orlando - kept sand out of the camera from two differnt beaches. The case is pretty deep, but fits in a pocket of cargo shorts if you want. Didn't try the clip on the case. Overall very good, high quality construction. Fits the Panasonic DMC-ZS3 perfectly. I have been a fan of the "Gerber EZ-Out" knife for several years and currently own 2 of them for use in the house and in our shop. These are well made lock blade knives and hold an edge for a very long time. The blade can be opened one handed with a little practice. It is a small knife, coming in at about 3" when closed and almost 5 1/2" when open. It is somewhat lighter then expected but is very sturdy. Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-04-02 Summary: Excellent blade for what it is made for ... This blade is mostly intended to be a good cheap skinning knife. You can see it in the basic design of it, with the clip point that gives a it a very natural flow when you cut. I've seen several deer parted out with one blade and it didn't lose its edge. When it did finally need sharpening it took an edge easily, probably more 440c as gerber does favor the 440 series of steel. The only real down side isn't even that bad. You need a sheath to carry it. For some people a sheath for a folding blade isn't acceptable. For ...more
