We moved from Ohio to NJ so the whole thing @ making new friends and missing the old ones was something he referred to a lot. The illustrations helped him visualize how the whole "cave" gets packed up and EVERYTHING (all toys etc) go to the new house. I had a couple other moving books but this was by far the most helpful! ...more

I bought this book for my 21-month-old son to help him understand an upcoming move. The text is too advanced for his short attention span but he enjoys the pictures. My husband and I showed him the pictures and told the story in our own words. It's difficult to say if this book eased our son's transition from our old house to our new. However, our move is complete and our son still enjoys looking at this book. ...more
