To respond to a few other reviews, first, I don't try to push on top to chop, I make a fist and pop it down (on the side of my fist, not a punch like you are punching someone in the face). It has worked every time. Second, as for cleaning the white top, if you keep it submerged in water and use the cleaning tool, the top cleans easily (I pull the tool in a couple of different directions to get everything out. I owned a similar product a few years ago it lasted a while until it broke from me having to slam the lid to chop vegies. This seems to be a stouter construction so it may last longer and I enjoy the versatility of the variety of blade options. I quater the onions and other vegies to fit and for easier chopping. I was leary of the less expensive battery (replacement batteries) that were not made by Sony due to the recurring statement 'they do not give very long battery life, buy the Sony'. While it is a little more, I am very pleased I heeded this advice. Getting ready for a trip to WDW and did not want to run out of power. You can't replace memories. Then, a photography podcast suggested to give a try at "China" batteries for my camera. While they might not have the computer chip to be a "smart" battery, and they might not last 2.5 years before noticing a decline in performance, they cost 10% - 20% of the Sony battery. Placement and aiming is the key to good performance as some computers, wireless networks and phones will cause interference. Microwaves will totally destroy the signal while in use. I couldn't get the remote extender to work properly however. But for my use that's no big deal. For my application, it's a lot easier using one of these receivers than running wire under my house. ...more

The first came from Best Buy and worked well but it took a while for the connection to be made and my wireless routers and phones caused a problem with reception. I decided to buy a new one but found this updated version instead. It works perfectly! As soon as you turn it on it is connected! Barge board - A decorative board covering the projecting rafter (fly rafter) of the gable end. At the cornice, this member is a fascia board.

Ceramic tile - A man -made or machine -made clay tile used to finish a floor or wall. Generally used in bathtub and shower enclosures and on counter tops.
