Its about the music. What wonderful recording! The best rendition of "Garden of Dreams" ever. If you are here deciding to buy this or not, your obviously a fan of this band and the music is familar to you. I have seen this band live and this DVD does not capture the magic nor the humor they have. When they are not filming, their are a bit more chatty amung themselves and the audiance. To often it sounds like the Flower Kings are trying to be a jam band, but instead of great improvision, it only comes out as noodling, thus kind of boring. Well crafted songs and each Cd is over 75 minutes long, well worth the price By the way, why does Amazon include a 'NO' in 'was this review helpful to you?'. People are only human and don't like opinions that differ from themselves, thus the 'NO' makes it too easy express such displeasure. Are they trying to discourage negative reviews, hence not purchase the CD. ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2005-12-15 Summary: Masterpiece ... Very good live album. Amazing, in fact. To start off, I deducted one star only because it is a live album, with little to no audience contact. They didn't sing along, they were barely spoken to... To me, that interaction makes live albums memorable. But this live album is rediculously good nonetheless. I love the Flower Kings. I love anything and everything that Roine Stolt touches (okay, not too fond of Kaipa...). And adding my absolute favorite vocalist as backup doesn't hurt, either. He lays out the background story of The Only thing Worth Dying For in the beginning chapters, quickly running through a huge number of people's names and military jargon. Blehm's talents are many and difficult to describe in a review - much better to read in person. But #1 amongst his talent is Blehm's ability to concisely interpret interviews and reports into a coherent whole. His depiction of events involving evaluation of wounded soldiers is graphic and real. ...more

Too bad they are interfered with by the sometimes dumb brass.A must read if you are interested in the politics of the service and who the real soldiers are.A very reflective book on Afghanistan also.Too bad Bush got bored and went to Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan!I highly recommend the book. ...more

Barge board - A decorative board covering the projecting rafter (fly rafter) of the gable end. At the cornice, this member is a fascia board.

Ceramic tile - A man -made or machine -made clay tile used to finish a floor or wall. Generally used in bathtub and shower enclosures and on counter tops.

Construction drywall - A type of construction in which the interior wall finish is applied in a dry condition, generally in the form of sheet materials or wood paneling as contrasted to plaster.

Drywall (or Gypsum Wallboard (GWB), Sheet rock or Plasterboard) - Wall board or gypsum - A manufactured panel made out of gypsum plaster and encased in a thin cardboard. Usually 1/2" thick and 4' x 8' or 4' x 12' in size. The panels are nailed or screwed onto the framing and the joints are taped and covered with a 'joint compound'. 'Green board' type drywall has a greater resistance to moisture than regular (white) plasterboard and is used in bathrooms and other "wet areas".

Undercoat - A coating applied prior to the finishing or top coats of a paint job. It may be the first of two or the second of three coats. Sometimes called the Prime coat.
